A podcast for women, moms, parents…
Isn't that always the question? When I brainstormed the possibilities for Time with Ty, a podcast was on the elusive wish list. As with most aspects of my life, I figured I would know when it was time to incorporate that feature. It's hard to believe that it's been over 18 months since I started this website. The newsletters and blogs have become more consistent, a community project is underway, and a recent online discussion made me wonder about a timeframe for the podcast.
Typically, I would decide to start a project, stay up all weekend learning everything about podcasting and start one the following week. However, that is not the experience I would like to have with this endeavor. Over the past few months, I have been working on setting boundaries for self-care. One of my many flaws is the tendency to create, serve, or assist others with little consideration for how the decision will impact my family and me. Due to maintaining boundaries, I am using a different (better for me) approach with this addition.
Several questions have emerged while formulating the framework, and I would love your feedback to move forward. It would be helpful for me to know general information. Do you listen to podcasts? If so, what are some of your favorites? If not, is there a reason? Would you be interested in listening to my podcast? If so, what topics are of most interest to you? Do you have a preferred length? Is there a hole in the market?
I have thoughts on the above, but I wonder if alignment exists between what I have in mind and what resonates with an audience. Your feedback is very important in helping me decide how to proceed. Complete this form to help me provide a new resource for you. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
